Access Study
Alton Estate, Roehampton | London
The access study was commissioned to improve the mobility of residents of the listed modernist Alton Estate. The study proposed measures for better access to the estate and for better and safer pedestrian movement within the estate.
The project included a comprehensive survey of the estate to identify movement patterns. Interviews with residents and consultation with stakeholders helped to identify areas for improvement. The study was presented in a public exhibition on the estate. It informed residents about the upcoming improvements.
